Choosing the right contact lenses for you will depend on your vision as well as other factors such as comfort level, fit and life style. There are many types of contacts and we’ll prescribe the right ones for you.
Soft Contact Lenses
Soft contact lenses are the most commonly prescribed because they are comfortable, easy to care for and affordable. There are many types of soft contacts available including ones for astigmatism, multi focal, and even for overnight wear. Soft contact lenses include:
- Daily wear which can be worn up to 18 hours straight but must be removed and cleaned at night
- Extended wear which can be worn overnight
- Disposable which are worn for just one day then discarded
- Color-changing contacts can change the color of your eyes even if you do not require vision correction
Hard Contact Lenses
Hard contact lenses which are sometimes called rigid or gas-permeable lenses, offer sharper vision and can correct severe astigmatism and nearsightedness. However, these are less comfortable at first than soft contact lenses.
We can fit you with any type of contact lenses. We take great care to find the right contacts with the proper fit for your eyes, vision needs and lifestyle.
